Pixel Sniper

back

Pixel Sniper was started in March 2008, right around the time I was in Texas on a road-trip across America. The idea for a pixel-perfect 2D sniping game had been in my head for awhile. I wanted a game where the player could zoom into high resolution images and try to spot pixel sized-snipers hiding among the background image. Having lots of time spent in the car and my new laptop available, I programmed a quick demo up in two days that had the basics of gameplay and from there I just kept on going. Adding an inventory system, wind, distractions, player-skills and spent time creating all the art except for the background images.

  • 8 maps
  • 5 playable snipers
  • pixel-perfect location damage
  • 9 sniper rifles to purchase
  • play against a lone sniper or a team of 20
  • increase your skills with accurate shooting
  • earn money with each kill
  • counter-act the wind or you'll never get a headshot!
